The Family Violence Law Clinic (FVLC) is hiring a Staff Attorney to help expand FVLC’s A Roof of One’s Own project. Working with up to 10 partner agencies, the new Staff Attorney will provide targeted, mobile housing services in coordination with partner agencies serving survivors of gender-based violence. Housing services will include legal services to survivors, focusing primarily on landlord advocacy and wrongful denial of housing subsidies, eviction defense, and restraining orders when relevant to housing needs (kick out orders, etc.), and preventative education about tenants' rights to clients and staff at organizations providing services for survivors of gender-based violence.
