Fall 2022 Law Clerk, Legal Advocacy Team

NCYL seeks two (2) law students to support its Legal Advocacy Team during Fall 2022. Working seamlessly together with our litigators and subject-matter experts across the country, the Legal Advocacy Team brings impact litigation on behalf of children and youth across multiple public systems, with a particular focus on racial justice. Law clerks on the Legal Advocacy Team will contribute to impact litigation across NCYL’s focus areas alongside a highly experienced group of litigation attorneys with strong civil rights backgrounds.

Fall 2022 Law or Policy Clerk, Debt Free Justice Campaign

NCYL seeks between 2-3 law or policy students to support nationwide advocacy to abolish the imposition of fees and fines on youth and their families in court during Fall 2022. NCYL is doing this work as part of the Debt Free Justice Campaign. Clerks will work with a highly experienced group of attorneys and policy advocates to uplift the voices of system-impacted youth, families, and community leaders, to advance reforms focused on abolishing fees and fines imposed on youth and their families in all 50 states.
