AABA's 46th Annual Gala: Speak Up, Rise Up
Our “Speak Up, Rise Up” theme for 2022 was inspired by our community’s recent movement to combat anti-Asian hate, and also by AABA’s history of speaking up on issues that impact the legal profession and the larger APA community. We know the value of our voice and the importance of representation. And we’ve seen the change we can create when we stand together. Our 2022 Annual Gala will celebrate how far AABA has come, and how far we will continue to go. |

Safety Language
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will require all guests to attest and provide proof of full vaccination, including up-to-date boosters, to attend the event. All guests will be required to show valid proof of vaccination at registration. We will also require all guests to review and sign a COVID-19 Guidelines Waiver and Release Form at registration, and to abide by the COVID-19 safety protocols delineated in that Form. You can review the Release Form in advance at [link]. Any guest who does not comply with these requirements will not be allowed to enter the event, and no refunds will be issued.
We encourage masking for all guests during the event when they are not actively eating or drinking. The Hyatt Regency will have air filtration systems running, and some of the ballroom doors will remain open during the event. We will also have hand sanitizer available.
If you are not feeling well, have a cough, fever, or symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home for your well-being and for the well-being of others. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 within 10 days of the event, we kindly ask that you do not attend the event.
